An excellent video, from an excellent youtuber

There is a difference between using some of your best equipment but sparingly and going all in with your best equipment front and centre.

Also a lot of their better stuff like BMPTs were notably absent from the initial few weeks.

Don't understand the point, the West won't buy the Russia BS, Russia public already seem to back the war, what's to gain?
Might be hoping to scare some countries off supporting Ukraine too much? Like 'I'm crazy, I'm gonna do it, just watch me I' m gonna do it! ' sort of thing...another way of stepping up pressure / implied threat....

Also might be hoping to mobilise the pro Russian / anti war lot too, and sowing just enough seeds of doubt in people's minds about what's actually going on to make them less confident about the situation...

Does seem like a crazy move, but then so did invading Ukraine in the first place.

T-62Ms on the move in this case. Unfortunately Russia is unlikely to run out of hardware, equipment and ammo for ground forces any time soon even if some of it is ancient and/or unreliable.
I've already replied to this but I just remembered something crazy.

The T-62 was the last Soviet four man tank, everything after only has a three man crew. They are giving tanks to their armoured divisions that not only have they never trained with (as anyone who ever served in a T-62 unit is retired or dead by now) but require additional tankers to operate, which will have to come from other crews, so while the T-62Ms are reinforcing their tank numbers they're also decreasing the amount of tanks they can field at once due to having less crews.
