Nobody in the west or Ukraine should even be CONSIDERING a peace deal.. Russia invaded a sovereign country and it's troops have committed warcrimes in the process. Stop trying to make excuses for the inexcusable.

And you really swallowed the kool aid about the Eastern parts of Ukraine really wanting to join Russia, and that making it OK for Russia to invade.... Nonsense
Also conveniently missing out some key bits of context around why there was massive civil unrest in 2014 and ignoring democratic elections since then...

Explain how it would make ANY difference at all for the US to disrupt NordStream, considering the Russian's had already turned off ALL the gas supply running through Nordstream in the first place?
You seem to think the US blew up the pipe to ... what? Disrupt Russia's income from Gas sales? I have news for you.. they already turned the gas supply off.. they were not getting any money from it.
The ONLY people who benefit from Nordstream being damaged are the Russians, attempting to disrupt Europe's Gas supply and cause issues over winter.
When it was reported that Europe had mostly filled it's gas reserves and did not "Need" Norstream, Putin threw his toys out the pram and blew up the pipeline so they could never use it again.

I could tell you first hand reports of someone I know in Ukraine with direct and in person evidence of what's happened. But I suspect you wouldn't believe that would you.
