How is 10s of thousands of civilians dying "comical"? Russia clearly isn't a toothless old dog or Ukraine would have put it down already. They still can cause huge amounts of death and destruction. Putin isn't interested in a negotiated peace that Ukraine will accept. Are you suggesting Ukraine rolls over and gives up huge parts of its country to Russia to make you happier?

Aided by politicians in our countries as well. Incredible that our own "leaders" were happily spouting Russian talking points and siding with Russia over their own country (Trump).

I can only imagine 3 possible reasons, none of which paint the Russians in a "positive" way to the world.

1. The targeting is deliberate as an act to terror.
2. The Intel folks made a large number of big mistakes.
3. The missile guidance systems are crap (most likely for me).

Cool, let's start a war with Russia then for Ukraine.

Honestly, do you not think through what you say?

Of course Russia is weaker than Nato, pretty sure they know this too hence there massive expenditure in missile technology for nuclear weapons.

Once that first nato attack hits Russia, its just a matter of time till Russia is on there back foot.

Russia is clearly in the wrong in this whole situation, they need to go back to borders before February and Ukraine should be part of NATO.

What needs to happen is a serious discussion of peace talks and for that to happen there needs to be a big third party involved and no one is doing that as there are nations out there who are benefitting from this war in many ways.

Its easy enough to say **** Russia and let's destroy them, but Ukraine is suffering far more and will do for a considerable time until this is over.

Too bad, Ukraine wants thier territory back, no one gets a say other than them.

What nations are benefiting ?

That has happened though, the problem is Russia won't give up and anything they promise they'll just go back on.
