Turns out Elon says it's not true.
If he did and he’s just lied about it then Putin will use that against him (if that’s not what is already happening).
Starlink by all accounts has been really important to Ukraine so far.

They’re sitting ducks. Break through one point with a few missiles and then attack from both sides. Hell, you could finish the whole line with drones.
Probably quite good at stopping armoured vehicle crews from escaping to Ukrainian lines cross-country to surrender.
I was about to say.. straight line too.. So basically a shooting zone or .. a suicide drone. I think you'll find this is for anti-tank/humvee rather than troops.

Surely the front is too long for this to be effective. Break through anywhere and you can more or less ignore it.
Yes, for the current time, but that just makes the argument stronger, wait around and be chipped off, or do something about it.
Get in fast to reduce the negative impact or wait end up with a much larger problem.

Won't be anyone to shoot at after a couple 6-packs of the new air-burst HIMARS land on it. It's also so long the Russians can't cover it all with artillery - which will be taken out by drones or more HIMARS anyway. Ukraine can choose their assault point and dig through it quickly. The war is too fast moving for this to be an effective deterrent today.

Yep it's probably more likely to keep the Russians contained than it is stopping the Ukrainians lol
Slows down enough to be able to pop them into the Orc bbq on full heat.
