Do you think No Action Talk Only will do anything if Belarus joins in the fighting?
Other than supplying more equipment, no. It doesn't fundamentally change the position that a non-NATO country has been invaded. NATO will only get directly involved if a NATO country is attacked.

Hmm think they'd need at least 10 times probably more like 100 times the number of cruise missiles to achieve that. By some reports Russia can only produce less than 60 cruise/ballistic missiles (about 10 Kalibrs) a month - which is a pitiful number for a war like this. (They've also conscripted some of the key staff for those production facilities...).

60 missiles per month is a very low number, doubt it.

Stuff like the Iskander missiles literally use off the shelf consumer parts made by the likes of Analog Devices, LT, Onsemi, etc. it probably isn't a joke they are salvaging them from white goods, etc.

EDIT: If their production and/or stockpiles were in much better health than that I'd have thought they'd have used far more missiles in the last lot of strikes - which was quite underwhelming compared to the seeming intentions of it.

Someone the other day was saying a next Gen tank needs drones?

Ask no more ;)

Fast forward to 2:27. The abramsX crew can from inside the tank launch switchblade loitering munition drones - the drones are stored in some of the tank side panels

Huh. I was going to reply to that poster that it didn't make sense to put drones in a tank because the tank should have support with it, and it makes more sense to put the drones in those than compromise the tank in order to add them. Glad I didn't 'cos I'd totally have egg on my face now if I had.

It does make a lot more sense to be something which is provided by support - no matter how advanced if a tank like that ends up operating in mostly or complete isolation it is vulnerable drones or not.

That’ll be a scary tank to go up against! Although still think in addition to switchblades which once you’ve fired I’m fairly sure won’t be coming back they could make room for half a dozen small rotary drones with a full suite of optical/thermal cameras. Could even have a couple magnetic plates on the tanks armour they can wirelessly recharge from so at least four are always up scouting. Worst case the grunts getting a ride can charge their mobiles!
US military should really give me a call, have loads of ideas like that. They’ll love my other ones involving sharks and lasers

I actually think you’re right and in my head more envisioned a tracked drone trailer that could be latched to and form an umbilical to a variety of vehicles wether it be tank/apc/ice cream van.
I just think if you’re going out in a column, whatever vehicles are in it drones are too big an advantage to not have and also just as important to defend against
