I think the victory condition for Russia is now unachievable, they've lost so much ground, taken so many losses - with winter on the way I can't see them making any real progress, or re-taking all of what they've lost, not now.

If Ukraine can get better air defences in place then even the threat of missile terrorism will subside.

Will still be a hard fought war though.

Belarus is a wild card but I'm still not really convinced they'll do anything.

Patriot and Iron Dome need a lot of training to operate, so you’re talking about putting US and/or Israeli personnel on the ground in Ukraine. Like it or not, that would give Putin some “Look! Western troops in Ukraine! NATO agression!” propaganda fuel for Russian media.

Stuff like Iron Dome is nice but there are other AA systems that are presumably not as good, but simpler to operate and send over.
