I do worry how the retaliation will be if Ukraine keeps making gains. I cannot work out what Putin's end game is, seems almost like he's got nothing left to lose and is prepared to do anything. If he wants glory for Russian then how exactly is widening the conflict going to achieve that, almost seems like it's win or throw toys out the pram and destroy the world.
I won't even pretend it's not effecting my general mood.

Even a T62 is better than no tanks. However if i was Russia, i would be making sure armour that has Drodz on , actually gets some munitions for it

Bit weird when they are also sending a large amount of their active heavy military equipment back to Russia - though on paper they still have a fairly large stock of stuff like T-72s - actual condition is another story.

I think constant escalation is Putin's game plan. Could just be a feint to tie up Ukrainian forces along the border to reduce the risk of counteroffensive.

Its really that the right in america, the Q anon election complaining crowd are so far off the scale on the right they now support putins invasion of Ukraine because it puts him against what they believe is the corrupt biden supported "regime" in Ukraine.

Its actually so insane. I've even seen some of them go so far in that direction they speak positively of the early days of USSR and communism, they literally cant make their minds up. One minute the left are marxists and nazi/communist/socialists, next minute they are talking positively of such things.

They often do this thing where they purposely act ignorant aswell, anything to avoid agreeing that Putins invasion of Ukraine was bad because that would mean supporting Bidens administrations support of Ukraine. You will often hear comments like "no one knows whats going on, no one could possibly know, there is so much propaganda its impossible to know and take sides etc". They will call fake the most obviously true facts and evidence etc.

Its so pathetic.

Putin keeps him in power, that and he will probably just discredit him, I guess he has lots of dirt and ways for him to end up in a Belarusian prison

Belarus is a puppet state of Russia. Atleast it's leader is, it's debatable whether it's population and military will allow an invasion though.

The last few hours suggest Belgorod might increasingly become a target for tit for tat attacks.

I am curious how it would go down if Ukraine employed a "hit 1 of ours we'll hit 10 of yours" approach to military and infrastructure in Belgorod Oblast.
