Putin tactics shifting to ensure he leaves a hollowed out husk of a country now that it's apparent he can't conquer it. It's going to be desperate times for the people of Ukraine this winter. I'm sure he does, but if I had to guess (a worthless opinion of course) the change in tactic by Russia to essentially flatten Ukraine's power/water infrastructure may require more than just attempting to saturate the country with anti-air systems. In fact I may add that I think it may become impossible to not call Russia a state sponsor of terrorism and not doing so will make the West look ridiculous.
Plenty of other things on the agenda though I'm sure.

Trips are usually arranged in advance and announced to the media well in advance. Also - in this case - there is the sudden cancellation of a select committee appearing. So, yes, hasty does seem justified.

I think it's a bit different when they're poaching their own people versus ex-service members helping a potential enemy state.
I doubt they were Chinese. Ethnically sure but 100% someone who is Chinese would not be able to get clearance to work on these things in the US.
