Probably related to the pilots being trained in China.

We get our nuclear power stations built by China; we use their chips in our telecommunicate industry we buy their steal, yet teaching them how to fly is a big problem for our government.

That all sounds like code for "we are losing, badly, and we're about to be kicked out of kherson"

To be fair the Mosin Nagant is still a very decent rifle, but yeah, those guys are fighting WW2 and are for the chop.

Still a credible medium range weapon despite the derision of it - I wouldn't want to be using one in closer range engagements though (and completely outclassed in medium to long range against a modern DMR).

Even for The Sun the headlines/article about the Belgorod sub is hilarious "just 270 miles from Nato border" - it has likely returned to port for maintenance or more likely due to a problem - the facilities which built it are 1km away (and as such the facilities required for any major maintenance are nearby) - and the picture they are using isn't of the Belgorod but another submarine which has been docked there for awhile.

EDIT: I take that last bit back actually - the image from H I Sutton is actually of the Belgorod back in port (the notification I got of the article used an older satellite image).

EDIT2: It likely means they are having problems with it as the primary function of those facilities tied to the 3 submarine tethering points is submarine repair, the complex to the right is for submarine building.

Some video of the nord stream damage

Hmm if that is nordstream (a) it looks to have blown out by the peeling back of the metal, (b) it looks very shallow and smaller than I would expect … hmmm..

Where was this months ago air defence response has been rather slow could have saved many lives?

Though there may be other considerations I'm not seeing such as becoming a target themselves - I'm a bit confused there doesn't seem to be stuff like Tunguskas covering the main approaches - they should be capable of intercepting these kind of drones. Maybe they need them all to provide air cover to the front lines though.

Possible there are and they just can't deal with the numbers - but I've not seen anything suggesting they've been used.
