Suspension tbh, most of us probably aren't interested in snuff videos.
After reading the last couple of articles from the BBC about the Kherson evacuation, it sure does sound like they are Russian sponsored to me.

Are they are allowed to call it a war now?
The utter gall on them to claim cities like Mariupol were destroyed by Ukrainian artillery and pretending like life there is almost normal with new neighbourhoods built.

If it wasn’t for the innocent casualties it would be laughable that Russia are in retreat, yet continue to waste their remaining weapons on civilians rather than the military targets in pursuit.

I just said on Twitter that I'm beginning to think there are only two possible explanations for Russians being the way they (mostly) seem to be... either there was a lot of inbreeding and messed up genes in not too distant history, or they are simply culturally evil. The truth may well be somewhere in the middle.
It's propaganda, look at Germany in WW2, a lot of citizens supported Hitler, the masses will follow utter drivel if it's presented to them in the right way.
Germans aren't culturally evil, they were duped by a charismatic but evil moron, same goes for Russians. The general Russian public are also victims here.
I think a wider portion of the Russian poluation know, to some extent at least, that this war isn't justified. They just don't care to speak up on it as long as it doesn't effect them.

Ask yourself the question 'what would happen if they spoke up'? Most are scared to give their opinion on camera when youtubers ask about these situations.
I worked remotely with a Russian for a few years who lives in Moscow. We used to have interesting chats at times about the world. He didn't like Putin, thought everything was corrupt and they were gangsters. So when Litvinenko was poisoned in 2006, I asked him about it, expecting to hear how sorry he felt for the guy. Instead I was shocked when he said Litvinenko was a traitor to the motherland and deserved to die.
When Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 I mentioned to him about the Budapest Memorandum, the ******** that he came up with to justify the war was incredible. What was surprising was he thought the UK, not the USA, was the leader of the world. I asked how is that when we have such a small military these days, his answers just did not make any sense.
It seems even those who hate Putin can have **** for brains.

Ukraine did it and spilled blood but got there and Iran is going through that now.

I might be wrong but from what I can make out a lot of middle class Russians more prominently see the BBC rather than US media on the one hand and their domestic media on the other and think the whole lot is propaganda - but then they'll still side with Putin.
Iran did it in teh 1950`s - then the West came in and imposed a dictatorship - so Iran did it again in 1979
