They tried to get David Whelan as well but Putin stopped it at the last minute. What was he supposed to do, just leave her there as well? It seems the Whelan family fully supported the administrations decision.

Ironically there was a time when you were more likely to get killed as a young male between 18-24 in a US city than you were serving in Afghanistan at the same age (on a per capita basis). I'm fairly sure I remember that being a quote in the opening chapters of War by Sebastien Junger unless I'm conflating it with something else I read on the topic.

Less than 48hrs after Putin claimed Poland was trying to invade Ukraine and he was here to protect it; today Russian MoD claims in the last 24 hours they have killed 90 Polish and, AND destroyed five M270/HIMARS launchers lmao. They did not provide any evidence for these claims.

These things are clearly for domestic consumption not foreign but it's hilarious what they come up with

If you believe Russki properganda they've destroyed more HIMARS systems then what Ukraine had actually been delivered. When they have produced evidence it turns out they've hit a kraz truck which from the front looks similar to HIMARS.

I think I know the answer to that question. It was the alien illuminati NATO nazis, obviously. Who invaded Ukraine with cunningly made synths from Fallout 4 that were wearing Russian uniforms and then used their mind control beams to force Putin to pretend he'd given the order to invade Ukraine.
