I know Russia leaks like a sieve, but this seems too quick to me?

Probably the Kremlin itself leaking it as a means to shift blame down the chain.

As a journalist working for Bellingcat pointed out during an interview, the reason for so much of their success when comes to investigations they’ve done involving Russia is that the Russian government gathers and stores masses and masses of data, being a massive surveillance state with deep seated paranoia, but it’s also an incredibly corrupt country, and it’s a case of simply knowing who to bribe to find out just about anything.

US inteligence apparently got a hold of some of the early offensive operational plans involving Hostomel airport through such leaks (i.e bribes).

Kremlin:
- Asked About Dnipro Missile Strike: Russia Does Not Hit Residential Buildings
- Dnipro Strike Was Consequence of Ukrainian Air Defence Rockets
- Asked About UK Tanks Supplies to Ukraine: These Tanks Will Burn Like the Rest
- Conflict Between Wagner and Defence Ministry ‘Exists Only in Informational Space’

No UK C2 has been lost by enemy tank fire. In fact even the RPG bit didnt result in a burned tank

Not sure where this is all going to end. Putin's reaction to more arms supply from the West is to increase attacks against civilian targets. It's hard to tell if the balance will shift as more and more capable weaponry starts to arrive. In the meantime, the country is being reduced to rubble and civilians will continue to suffer in ever larger numbers. It's a complete tragedy. :(

Yes it is, and it'll only end when Putin has the whole country! which for the rest of the Europe is a bad thing as he'll only want more.

Wish Putin would just die in his sleep or something.

He'd taget civilian targets regardless if Ukraine was getting aid or not. The tit for tat attitude is just a weak justification.

*German Defence Minister Lambrecht Announces Resignation - Statement

I think the minister has resigned because Germany looking increasingly incompetent. Just after they resigned an in depth interview with the CEO of Rheinmetall was released and it paints a sorry picture. If Germany was to say yes to sending tanks and other more modern equipment it would take many months to actually get those vehicles and bring them up, for example Germany's spare Leopard 2 tanks all require up to 12 months of work before they are combat ready, they need to be completely dismantled and rebuilt

It just shows how bad Germany's readiness to a potential conflict is horrendous. Poland could've probably invaded and took the country over.

Lambrecht's been involved in a string of scandals and mistakes (article in German, hit up your favourite translation service) and had previously said she didn't want to continue in front line politics before Scholz talked her into taking on the defence job. I think this is more about run of the mill political failure than the specific failings of Germany's military and military industry.

Remember that Germany are only allowed an army for defence and probably didn't think anyone would be stupid enough to invade them.

Don't forget there is also a large U.S army Prescence in Germany so it's not like they were defenceless.

35,000+ Active-duty personnel

Indeed, but relying on a nation for defence an ocean away is not the best strategy.
