I wonder what effect Poland ignoring arms controls will have on other countries?

Could it make them irrelevant?
I suspect Poland is happy to do this because they are in the process of replacing their Leopard 2s with South Korean tanks anyway. Hence they no longer strictly need to maintain and support them. In this case it can only affect future possible sales and, as somebody pointed out previously, Germany needs thiose sales as much as everybody else making MBTs.

Finnish Defence Ministry:
- Finland Will Triple Value of Its Defence Equipment Donations to Ukraine to EUR 590 Million From EUR 190 Million
- Finland’s Newest Defence Equipment Donation to Ukraine Worth More Than EUR 400 Million Does Not Include Leopard Tanks
- Defence Ministers of Finland and Sweden Are to Sign a Statement of Intent on Support for Ukraine in Ramstein, Germany Later Today
- With Their Statement of Intent, Finland Agrees to Supply Defence Materiel to Ukraine and Sweden Expresses Its Readiness to Support Finland As Necessary

Just incredible that they are having to buy a lot of their own kit. Western forces do it, but it is optional.. They have what they need from the get go. 2nd power in the world, my arse!
The most incredible is that they are happy to fight. There is a story that one orc borrowed money to get equiped and then died. His loan has to be repayed by his relatives.

Kremlin:
- Western Tanks for Ukraine Will Change Nothing, Won’t Stop Russia Achieving Goals
- Ukraine Conflict Is Spiralling Upward
- We See Indirect and Sometimes Direct NATO Involvement
- International Community Will Regret ‘Delusion’ That Ukraine Can Succeed on the Battlefield
- To Avoid Escalation, Russia’s Concerns Must Be Listened to
- Ties With U.S. Are at a Historic Low Half-Way Through Biden’s Term
- It Sees No Hope of Improvement in U.S. Ties

US Defense Secretary Austin:
- Russia Suffering Major Losses
- Russia Is Regrouping, Recruiting, and Trying to Re-Equip
- This Is Not a Moment to Slow Down. It’s a Time to Dig Deeper. the Ukrainian People Are Watching Us

Russia really is in cloud cuckoo land... 'ties with U. S. at historic lows?' gee, wonder why that is

e: And talking about the conflict 'spiralling upwards' as though they aren't the ones driving the whole damn war, or the ones launching massive attacks on infrastructure, torturing and murdering civilians etc.

Think that last point from secretary Austin is a key one though... The fighting has bogged down and Russia managing to gain the upper hand in places like Bakhmut, but is paying a very high price. Russia seems to want to overwhelm Ukraine with sheer numbers & long term attrition. This is surely the time to commit 100% to supporting Ukraine. Training, Intel, weapons, finance etc... Not the time to be shying away from providing them with modern tanks or other vital weapons systems.

Yes my logic as well, Russia has numbers so if they're willing to throw them at it, Ukraine need to be capable of punishing the use of large number of mobik zombies with superior firepower.
