Footage of a raid over the river at Dnipryany, Kherson Oblast by Ukrainian forces - funny how widely the Russian and Ukrainian reports of it differ. Looks like a pretty hot exit.

Russian: 80 man assault with amphibious IFVs and boats took 90% losses with all their vehicles and boats destroyed.
Ukraine: 8 man team with small boats, killed 12 Russians, destroyed Russian APC, trucks and a building, extracted with 2 wounded.

It is on Osinttechnical Twitter and Reddit, original source I dunno how to link to as it uses Cyrillic letters I can't reproduce.

EDIT: OSINT Technical has a link to it on YT as well which seems same source as the original - doesn't really show anything graphic, etc. but probably best I don't link to it.

Likewise. I’d be no good in a combat unit unless it was manning a static defensive position, but I could drive a resupply truck, distribute ammo and rations etc that would free up a younger man for the running about and shooting.

Give me a "mouse" based role (such as drone pilot) and maybe, my back is a bit iffy, as are my knees so I am not sure trenches are for me to be honest.

We have a fair few driving gods in the motors section (apparently) so we should be good for drivers

Its not exactly hidden - the military aid is the old stuff - those Bradleys are M2A2 ODS ; based on lessons learnt in Gulf War 1 - they are 30 years old. Same with `Saint Javelin` - they were end of life and so it was a perfect field test.
