Great news. I think Britain saying we will send 14 Challenger 2's May be a contributing factor to persuading so many countries to supply Leopards.

The Challengers are a bit of an outlier as they are different to most European tanks which are Leopards. So ammo, spares, training, etc are more logistically difficult. But they at least helped trigger the supply of Leopards.
 
Russian propaganda has been completely exposed by this war. They've played their exact card set dictated by the Kremlin so many times now, rather than the unpredictable Russia of past, they've now become very predictable.

* As soon as there is any discussion of sending a new weapon to Ukraine the Russians say: This is an unacceptable escalation, the country sending these weapons will become a target and we want to nuke them

* Once the weapon is formally announced, the Russians say: This weapon system doesn't matter anymore and we don't care that that country is sending them, we have studied it and learned its secrets, it will be quickly destroyed by our army

Exactly. They claim every weapon is a "provocation" as they continue to launch waves of cruise missiles and assault Ukranian positions. Jokers.

Ukraine are basically going to be slaves to the west when this is all done and finished. All the private firms will be cashing in on the "gold" in Ukraine after all this is done and dusted because I fail to believe they are sending all this war material for the great of good.

From a selfish perspective it will be interesting to see how the Western tanks compare against each other in proper combat.

At least they will have a country to rebuild. Ukraine are resource rich so will handle it.

They are not daft they know the country has a high price to pay but the cost of war is a lot cheaper than an occupation and no country.

Well we all know the "just cause" is there and I would love to see some payback in Russia but it will never happen because logistically Ukraine could never pull it off, Russia is simply two big an area to take.

If they were to use stock from USA inventories they would be forward loaded by rail, shipped across on RORO ferries, then moved again by rail from which ever port the land in, likely Poland.

Isn't Russia monitoring all rail and major road movements from Poland to Ukraine? Spot large transport trains, send in a volley of missiles. I have always wondered how Poland and others are getting equipment into Ukraine. Be interesting to read some stories of those involved and the tactics used.

I think you are underestimating the amount of aid Ukraine is getting to make that even worth losing their extremely valuable precision missle stock. Those trucks could be carrying anything and it's not like they are going to post the manifest details, not to mention potential spillover into Poland after the last time a missle landed in there.

I think Russia got high off their own supply of propaganda that the west was a bunch of scared woke pronoun fixated chai latte drinking weebs.
