Read up on the negotiations, regardless of the ins and outs of it and bad faith that may or may not have happened on both sides, Putin has drawn a line in the sand repeatedly of basically Ukraine rolls over or else which has made any realistic negotiations impossible.

Anyone putting the onus on Ukraine for peace negotiations is wasting their own time and anyone else's, Russia needs to make substantial first moves or the whole thing is a waste of everyone's time.

And how quickly did that fall away once people saw the reality of it and more and more information started to filter through that perhaps this wasn't "for the greater good of world safety"?

As to the ones you have listed off there, I think you might be dramatically underestimating how many active conflicts there are raging across the world at any one time. We get involved in the ones we care about from our own selfish perspective.

Most influence around the world comes from "soft power" anyway. Most countries can be manipulated and threatened into submission rather than a forceful removal of a regime. Much easier. cheaper and less messy.

Sure. You know what a search engine is right? A few minutes looking and you'll come up with answers. This isn't some niche topic here, his vitriol is everywhere.

Also, Galloway is a communist pretending to be a socialist. Perhaps that is more than enough of a hint for someone that clearly is pretending to play dumb at this, whilst also giving good historical reference to things.

Some people only ever see what they want to see, often while bleating on about how other people only get their information from mainstream media as a counter to anything they don't want to see.
