Russia has lost nearly 1700 tanks in Ukraine already - 950+ of active T72`s (from a total at the start of the war of 2030),

The 500 T72B3 and B3M destroyed, represent about 40% of all of that mark in operation; along with the 300 T72B (out of 600).

The T80`s are being hurt a lot worse - out of the 480 active at the start of the war , 390 are catalogued as being destroyed / disabled.

And the 417 T90`s, 49 have been destroyed / disabled.

If the numbers are approx correct, Russia started the war with just under 3000 tanks and have now lost 60% of the active fleet. And is the reason we are seeing an increasing number of both T90, and T62 in use.

Send in Chieftains to clear out the T62`s :)

So that number of 1800 tanks for the next offensive, isnt true at all.

I have no support for giving away our Fighter Jets, they're so expensive and we just don't have many as it is. The US is vastly more equipped to do this by providing F-16's if they want.

Assisting Ukraine should not come at the expense of our own capability.

Perhaps we could donate the jets already earmarked to be decommissioned?

Hopefully the government intends to invest heavily in defence in the coming years.
