Ukraine Invasion - Please do not post videos showing attacks/similar

On another note - another round of missiles attacks tonight including air-defences active over Lviv (unclear if any Russian missiles hit Lviv) - lots of talk that some of the "missiles" were spoof attacks intended to show the position of Ukrainian air-defences and/or exhaust their ammo.

In Yugoslavia it took them less than a week to realise NATO was selling them out to a war they could not fight. ;)

Oh look another peacenik, what the peacenik really means is we shouldn’t support Ukraine because somehow that prolongs Ukrainian suffering. Instead we should just let Russia do what it wants to “save lives”.

Russia doesn’t want peace. Every attempt made is met with ridiculous demands from Russia.

Is caring about lives not russian or ukraine but lives is a good point but I care about that. I care about lives. Together.
Is the point.
A lot of money is in war a lot more than the value of life or environment.
 
So I care a lot about life of people on all sides. As there is no reason really to this.
But if you want to make good guys bad guys and stick to them. People will die because of that. :(

Lets see how we go these coming months then. Lets hope we vote to stop conflict.
But let hope we continue it until we decimate every russian alive.
Not much of a balance for a resolution ;)
 
Hows the shares and stocks going in rearming and reloading? Never mind the red cross!!! ;)

Ah that old trite fallback... I'm yet to see a workable suggestion as to how this ends peacefully by those banging the negotiations, etc. drum.

Besides right now we'd be more of a liability than an asset turning up in Ukraine to fight, but unlike you if it comes to having to preserve our way of life I'll be there.
 
Dunno if regular rotation, notice quite a few tankers up over both sides of the Atlantic last few days so stuff is moving about, but E-3B Sentry flying into Europe tonight from the US with the ident NOVA24 - maybe just coincidence but it has previous flown with idents significant to its intended mission.

The thing for me that still intrigues me totally is no one no one is trying to stop this.
So no one in the west supports ending ukraine deaths.
We all support a total fight to the end or nothing of the ukranian people?
Way to go our support for the people!!!

Why do we have a WW2 Japanese all or nothing to the death style stance as long as we are making money reloading arms? Why if we are the good guys are we not trying to end this war and save the people?
And if the reason is because Putin bad etc etc then why are we not stepping forward and going full on WW3 and putin if you pardon the pun putin an end to it all?

Same here, we trained for years and was drilled into us that the Russian bear was a monster, now you look at them and laugh. Without nukes they would be no match for Poland nevermind the EU or NATO

I guess it really shouldn't be such a surprise though...

As we learnt later on, a lot of the "show of strength" that the USSR liked to parade was "faked", that is to say - they took the same handful of Bison / Bear Bombers (not sure which) and had them overfly their parades multiple times to make it appear as though they had hundreds of them. Same goes for a lot of their ground hardware.

It stands to reason that so much of the more recent years of Russia's behaviour has been to mirror that of the Soviet era of old, I guess it should be no surprise that they don't have anywhere near the kind of equipment they claimed / thought they had.
 
More signs of Russias collapse

Russia has a replacement for the T90, the T14 Armata tank. Half way through development, India pulled out after some test tanks they were sent burnt out as the tank couldn't deal with the Indian Summer heat and they had no air conditioning for the crew. Fast forward a couple years and without the Indian money Russia can no longer run the program and produce its own T14 so the program was cancelled last December.


Now India says it still needs a new tank so it's going to make a tank itself and it's looking for countries who would license a technology transfer to it so India can built the tanks itself. And big surprise, Russia says it would be very glad to give India all the technology information on the T14 then India can fix the issues with the tank and build their own T14s - what Russia wants in return is money and to be able to buy T14 tanks from India

So in the end, Russia the once mighty tank industrial might is forced to buy tanks from India
