However if they were to accidentally drop a big bag of money in Iran, and Iran were to accidentally drop a big bag of missiles, then technically.....................Nice.

The Israelis could accidentally drop a bunch of warheads on the convoy and claim it exploded due to careless handling…However if they were to accidentally drop a big bag of money in Iran, and Iran were to accidentally drop a big bag of missiles, then technically.....................
Such a clumsy world we live inThe Israelis could accidentally drop a bunch of warheads on the convoy and claim it exploded due to careless handling…
About 16,000 civilians and 13,000 troops (as at 1st December 2022) are the official numbers from the Ukrainian government. International numbers put total military causalities as high as 100,000 for a similar time period so maybe around 30 to 50,000 dead. We will never likely know the true numbers, either way it make form grim reading. The only thing to point out is the International number includes all branches of Ukrainian security forces (boarder force, national guard, police as well as the AFU) whereas the Ukrainian number is only the AFU which explains some of the discrepancy between the two numbers. How many soldiers does Ukraine declare as killed? On Wikipedia I read a very low figure compared to the international figure.
Ukraine had received and started using its Jdam kits
"Recently, we've just gotten some precision munitions [to Ukraine] that had some extended range and go a little bit further than the gravity drop bomb and has precision [guidance]," Hecker said. "That's a recent capability that we were able to give them probably in the last three weeks."
Gen. Hecker further confirmed to The War Zone that he was specifically speaking about the JDAM-ER. His comment about these weapons arriving in Ukraine around three weeks ago also aligns almost perfectly with Bloomberg's initial report that the U.S. military was working to deliver them, which was published on February 21.
Not really I don't think. They're air launched and Ukraine can't fly at altitudes that will give them decent range. When they're getting the HIMARS launched version they'll be more useful.Winged JDAM Smart Bombs Are Now Operational In Ukraine
The U.S. Air Force's top officer in Europe says JDAM-ERs are now in Ukrainian hands, putting whole new Russian target sets at risk.www.thedrive.com
That should give those Russian ******** something else to worry about
A lot of work must have gone in to retro fitting those systems into those old Soviet aircraft so there must still be some practical use for them. Not really I don't think. I'm sure they're helpful but they're no game changer unfortunately.A lot of work must have gone in to retro fitting those systems into those old Soviet aircraft so there must still be some practical use for them.
There is some footage just released of a column of stationary armour on a road, they must have thought they were out of range. We don't actually see the strike but its apparently HIMARS and it decimated the column.
They reckon Wagner has begun sending elites in backed up by Russian army elites as they've begun to run out of pure fodder. So the Ukrainians have to stick it out on the back of that bet coming true...I do wonder, and I suspect the Russians might be too (although it’s too late) if Ukraine has lured Russia into a trap in Bakhmut that will ultimately lose them the war? Huge attrition just getting in there aside.
I know for front line fighters it’s been hell and some think it’s a matter of time but they may not have the full picture.
They’ve had months to organise the pull back across the river and setup defensive kill zones and set traps (some of which we’ve already seen) etc.
Now while the Russians have men inside artillery has to be more precise, not something they are famed for even if they have the shells. Not such an issue for Ukraine who also seem to have a drone advantage.
Just seems to be an absolute grinder that even if they take the city it will be nothing but pyrrhic leaving them so depleted in men and material they’ll be unable to stop what’s hopefully coming in spring. Could even see a simultaneous offensive to retake areas around bakhmut too since the Russian route into the city isn’t likely to be so mine laden.
Can only hope!
Concentrate the enemy from a defensive position versus an offensive position. It's like going Banana on CS inferno.Rumour is Ukraine going to make a breakthrough from North and come in from behind and trap Russians inside Bakhmut, Wagner said there multiple Ukraine units around and they are complaining about ammo we shall see.
I personally dont get why an offensive hasnt been made like Kharkiv to release pressure of Bakhmut spreading Russians forces thin like has been very sucessful in the past.
