The Germans have ones where you poop on a shelf so it can be inspected before sending it on its way. Might be good from a healthcare pov but its not for me.

First thing I did when I moved in here is rip those out and replace them with normal toilets. I do not desire more quality time with my poop.

Maldova announced that right now US, British and Romanian troops are conducting joint military exercises with Maldova in the country. The training exercises will continue until 7 April
For those who don't get the nuance here :)

Moldova's air force consists of four Hind gunships, their navy is non-existent and their army has zero tanks. They aren't hosting an exercise involving UK/US/Romania, it's just a less confrontational way of announcing they've invited UK/US/Romania to station troops/equipment there temporarily in case Putin decides one silly invasion isn't enough.

Good we have wised up. Just imagine the bloodshed saved if we had done the same with Ukraine.

Also that temporary things tend to become permanent, ;).

Does anyone think Russia’s nuclear arsenal is still functional? Given the state of their Army, Navy and Airforce; I’m not convinced they could actually deliver a warhead onto a NATO country without using DHL.

Given what some S300's have been doing, the biggest threat to Russia is it nuking itself.

Yes, but I suspect the reliability is typical of the rest of their hardware and likely at least 1/3rd of the weapons which are functional would malfunction in some fashion - still leave a lot which would work though.

Nuclear weapons don't tend to detonate by accident - so likely they wouldn't end up nuking their own cities, etc. when they fail - though some might go way off the intended target.

According to people who seem to be ahead of the game with this stuff the silo, etc. based weapons are basically rotting away, the money gets spent on the road mobile systems like the Topol. Though in one way that seems a bit odd to me given how paranoid Putin is and likes to have things tightly under control - the static systems would be easier to secure. (Not really heard much about the submarine based systems - from the general state of their subs though...).

It doesn't help that they're currently at war with the country who designed/built the USSRs ICBMs which has voided their maintenance contracts, so until they get their Russian made replacements into service they aren't getting any maintenance/repairs done.

Yea I know. It's a show of force to tell Putin, hands off Maldova!
