So NATO’s border with Russia has now doubled.
Putin looks such a knobber now

Problem with Sweden is they have given PPK members (I think that’s the group) asylum so I think Turkey want them extradited back to Turkey before they accept Sweden’s application.Wonder how they got Turkey over the line and if they'll be a problem for Sweden.
Not really, sometimes there interest align but that doesn't mean pally. Putin probably still p/off with Erdogan for shooting down one of Russia's military jets back in 2015.Isn’t Putin pally with Erdogan?
If so, a bit of a kick in the teeth that his mate has approved the doubling of NATO borders.
Kind of get the feeling Ukraine is looking to to do a Stalingrad/Operation Uranus style counter attack when it comes to Bakhmut.
Sadly seems like Bakhmut going to fall within weeks now, but that been a might fight for Ukraine 10 months holding out.
Sounds like counter offensive could punch behind Russian forces in the south of Bakhmut going to be interesting.
Added to the fact that Putin just created another huge frontier to defend with Finland's accession to NATO. Russia has border vulnerabilities in so many places - no way they can cover all of it and keep flooding bodies into Ukraine.there are still significant long standing regular forces not deployed to Ukraine, especially where they are drafted from better off regions, and almost certainly won't ever be deployed to Ukraine due to Putin's paranoia - but Russia is still capable of waging a significant war.
That was 'leaked' by someone on twitter the other day. It's a lot of money but most of $2.6b is essentially just a purchase order for arms manufactures produce the munitions, Ukraine will be lucky to get the full the benefit from this package this year.
It wasn't 'leaked', certain U.S. officials speak to Journalists days before they announce the package, it's happened many times now. That was 'leaked' by someone on twitter the other day.
But +1 to your overall point on it likely taking awhile till they actually get this stuff.![]()
