Where does space start and the atmosphere end?
Did this actually enter from "space"?
Did you miss my question mark?
What do you think happened?

Notice how at the start of the video there is a big glow around the object; that happens when an object enters the upper atmosphere and heats up to 5000c and starts breaking up. A missile will not look like that unless it's breaking up in the atmosphere from the heat and even then I don't think it would look like that - that amount of light indicates a large amount of mass is burning up, more like a comet, satellite, space station etc. as for your altitude question - I would expect from that video that the object was higher than 100km or higher than 328084 feet when it was visible

Press X to doubt.

As far as I'm aware the ground isn't yet dry and hard

lol, I'm kinda thinking the same, but there is 10% of me that is hopeful that this is a series of probing attacks to test them. I'm wondering if Russia will retreat to Crimea like they did with Kherson if Ukraine push hard.

It’s good news if it has, yet I worry there’s as assumption in the west that all Ukraine has to do is turn up and it’s game over for Russia. I feel like Ukraine has one throw of the dice before the war turns into stalemate.

on one hand that sounds like basic war craft that you would have done back in the day before starting a war.... on the other hand................ do they not have satellite data?

i imagine google maps would be a good start (but havent checked) ;)

when ever the likes of the mail says "it is claimed" my gut feeling is it is nonsense.

Typical politicians. They go stick them all when they are pretty much indefensible. The world has not been a single year for thousands of years without a war and yet they don't stop to think what happens if there is one.

Some interesting activity round near me this morning (QID41 can you get lost please).
A few minutes ago 4x F35 flew over, quite tight formation, pretty low and boy they make some noise. Not F15 noise though, I think 1x F15 is noisier than 4x F35.
I couldnt see them on flight radar but it might have been they managed to land before I fired it up, or they were flying with no transponders which would be unusual round here. (It does happen if I happen to be up when some "real action" is taking place we see and hear them takeoff and nothing pops up on flight radar)

Where I am, I get the Ukrainians practising with artillery. I mean I can't be sure it is them, but I'm within hearing distance of a range (it's a very long way away, so I get the ground shakes) and there has been unusually high levels of activity recently. The skies, well, they have been remarkably clear.

Russia budget deficit for 2023 has grown to $57 billion. Russian economists blame a 45% reduction in oil and gas revenue and say to get the deficit down to $0 by the end of the year would require an immediate 40% reduction in government spending

If this keeps up Putin will at the money printers going ham on churning out additional Rubles to balance the books.

He may still be selling he's oil to India and China but it's so cheap Putin's effectively selling a tenner for a fiver at this point.

There is quite a bit of routine military activity which doesn't show though and/or only 1 plane will have its transponder on especially when stuff is operating alongside a tanker only the tanker broadcasts.

Dunno, those f-35 B variants are unbelievably noisy!
No so sure on the A model as I've yet to see one take off yet.
