Prepare for an invasion...exactly. (at least to the extent that we are willing to risk blood and treasure)
We do not keep the troops and equipment in place necessary to meet the threat Putin presents with his current build up.
Just having bases and troops in countries around Russia doesn't cut it.

Except it’s only the USA and us their lapdogs who preparing. As the Ukrainian prime minister said we are unnecessarily whipping up a frenzy. Good for Lockheed Martin though

Speculation? That indeed would be a wise thing to do so we should really learn to shut up and stay out of others affairs until asked. We never learn.

Well we are running military supplies to them, so I presume we have indeed been asked!
Russia has put about 70-80% of it's military on the borders of a country it recently annexed a portion of, and people like you want us to "shut up". You're either weak, stupid, or on the side of Russia.
So they are using different tactics. One is calming his people the other stirring the pot.

No it's quite normal and nothing to worry about, apparently.
Granted Russia is free to do basically whatever it wants within its own borders, no issue with that, but things have to be taken in context, and here the context is terrible.
They are on there own land. Free to run military training exercises.
If they invade I’ll eat humble pie. If they don’t… Well I like pie
