Isn't that how "they" said it would start ? a campaign of cyber attacks before the artillery starts softening up areas for air bombardment ?
Yeah - but also that the cyber attacks and missile attacks would start together, about 2 days before ground assault. The idea being that it doesn't take that long to recover from a cyber attack, so you can't give the target much time.

We're here to protect YOUR people from Dictatorship.

Also we 'President Donald Trump said on Monday the U.S. will be "keeping the oil" in northeastern Syria, his administration is looking into the "specifics"

I do wonder if Biden has given those oil-fields back or not. Or we're keeping those oil-fields nice and free away from dictatorships.

I agree, Iraq's GDP per capita has now finally met the level it had in 1980. Definitely not a shed.

China's Belt and Road invested in safeguarding China's oil supply - investing/arming Iran - this also becomes a bit of a conflict of interest for Russia vs China. Russia wants to essentially control China's oil & gas - this is also why China want to look at extracting resources in the South China Sea. Russia could also play China off against the west in this arena to by attempting to spark off conflict within the South China Sea (rather than Taiwan). I'm not sure China, behind the mask, trusts Putin any more than the US does.
Yes they have opened more trade, and in the post-cold war they traded nuclear knowledge as part of the shared ideology.. but it seems Putin, the dictator, is not a communist that the Chinese Communist Party actually can ideologically relate to.

Reports from Belarus the southern woods are full of Russian soldiers, many drunk/high and selling fuel to buy supplies from local supermarkets. Apparently most seem to be under the impression they are there for a months long deployment and not going anywhere invasion or home any time soon (maybe just observing opsec somewhat).

Also some T-90 tanks - I've not seen many of these linked to movements purported to be about Ukraine yet:

Also reports that similar happened earlier on the Ukraine/Romania border with a Blackhawk stopping at the border to pick someone up - strange the US having all these medical emergencies.

EDIT: Apparently happened 3 times - supposedly this is footage from one of those:

According to reports bunch of vehicles came into the border crossing from Ukraine, soldiers in American uniforms got out and spent 10 minutes surveying the area then the helicopter landed and took them away.

Is that the T-90 thats going to break down shortly on the way there? :D

Also do you have a source for drunk/high Russian soldiers apart from Ukranian yellow press Media? Just curious, want to send it to friends but no one will take it seriously if its from un-trust worthy Urkanian media outlet.

As they appear to be from A stock maybe.

It is just what I'm seeing on social media, not sure the origins or veracity though it is coming from multiple, not circular, sources.

google.com

Great site, helps you find things on the internet. You should try it out ;)

They look pretty deadly to me. If they can blow up a car in their undercrackers with just a bow and arrow, think what they can do with cruise missiles!

Medical emergency but they can walk just fine to the Chopper, nothing to see, just spec ops catching a ride after doing their spec ops stuff

Russians saying they are pulling back, nato saying no they're not. Not looking good really is it. :(

I guess from this we can infer their "we're not going to invade" is equally as BS

Again huge gaps in ISR coverage, at least anything we can see on civilian flight radar. If stuff was imminent as before I'd expect to see overlapping persistent coverage leading up to it.

Also notable that most of the videos of Russian tanks supposedly moving to forward areas have little or no coaxial, swivel or otherwise mounted equipment - guns and additional sensor packages, etc. if you look at say the Ukrainian drills or where they are moving forces to defensive positions or videos from various other nations convoys leading up to conflict they are bristling with that kind of stuff once they start moving to forward areas.

This is quite amusing:

Not really related to Ukraine though might be Russian related but I wonder what happened around Syria earlier today - in the early hours there was a US battle command/comms relay plane (E-11) up over central Iraq circling for some hours along with various other US military traffic much of which didn't show on ADSB other than the position of other aircraft like tankers or redirected civilian aircraft giving away there was something there. At one point a UK C-130 used by special forces took off from Akrotiri, headed over Israel and Jordan then turned off its transponders approaching Syria, after which there was intense GPS jamming for some hours, it eventually reappeared over Turkey and returned home.

A few hours later a UK tanker accompanied by Typhoons did the same thing, took off from Akrotiri, flew in over Jordan and turned off transponders as they approached the Syrian border.

Seen no mention of it on any OSINT channels other than someone noting the GPS inaccuracies for awhile.

EDIT: Older report but same region as there seemed to be GPS jamming going on earlier:
