Ye its the globalhawk its been running at the altitude for all the runs lately.

It taken over from the RC-135 duties it does that every day.

But what is interesting is the two up, It was scanning the edge of Poland very quick apparently the Lithaunian president come out and said he concerned about a build up of 45,000.

Which is why Putin invaded Ukraine in the first place. Now he occupies Crimea and Donbas.

Well Ryan Air did have to divert to a Belarusian airport to allow Russia to arrest a journalist and his girlfriend. No claimed bomb on board was found.. so they're used to dropping off things.

The weather from the remainders of Eunice etc will probably make it a grand flight.
 
SAM376 - USAF Boeing C-40B coming over the UK now - interesting I've not seen them much before - seems like they are pushing all the capacity into use they can :s

According to wiki:

"The C-40B is designed to be an "office in the sky" for senior military and government leaders. The aircraft features two-way broadband data communications, including secure voice and data communication; elements include internet and network access, telephones, satellites, facsimile and copy machines. The C-40B also has a computer-based passenger data system.[3]"

Apparently A and B variants can also be used to setup temporary air traffic control.

If anything I've learned from this whole situation, just how much info ocuk community is able to gather on military operations across the world.

This thread has so far been an incredible read.
 
Piece on the news about Taiwan warning about what China might do after the Olympics.

Taiwan being under threat of invasion from China is nothing new but all this Russian posturing is a great distraction if China wanted to fulfill its one China vision.
