The huge force already caused mass hysteria in west which already achieved certain goals for Putin. You can go back to my messages where I outlined them.

Now to back down from this with some substantial victory for domestic crowds would be preferential. Can't just spend that much money and tension and come home empty handed, well Putin could but coming back with something fungible is beneficial.

He can say that now Donbass is in peace and happy and we've reached our goals and disperse into the night on his donkey.

That's why I'm saying that for everyone this would be a good off ramp.

Ukraine - considers those areas Russian occupied already, so independence means nothing. Minsk officially dead at hands of Russians. Minsk that Ukranians loathe and will never be able to implement.

USA/NATO - Their sanctions said specifically if 'further incursion into Ukraine'. They also consider current occupied territories gone. We can scream saying that Biden and BJ are so great this stopped whole Ukranian invasion.

Russia - Can pull back forces and bring something fungible back home - aka peace in Donbass.
 
By the way if some of you think that videos are going to come out of Ukraine from accounts with 50k or 100k followers then you are truly, deluded.

These are locals, people with a few hundred followers, and yes their videos get retweeted by these sh**y little news pages but so what.

That is simply not true. Per West and Ukraine, these territories are considered Russian Occupied/ Russian Controlled already. Ukranians do not say Separatists have shelled them, they say Russian Army.

It is an off ramp to diffuse situation in my opinion as long as he recognized in current borders.

Quite frankly if Russia can 'absorb' these areas and get rid of these clowns it would be better for everyone.

Reason being is that these DNR and LNR clowns shell Ukrainian territory on purpose to get return fire - to cry back to Putin to ask for more money to steal.

Meanwhile people on both sides end up dead and traumatized.
 
Putin's address is expected very soon aka any minute. Let's hope he does not declare bloody WW3 and launches nukes quite frankly.

Apparently Putin's ally (Medvechuk) home in Ukraine is being surrounded by police and secret service

They have zero credibility because of thier past actions, it's thier own fault, and let's face it, I find it hard to believe every European country plus others further afield, including China in a way are all out to get Russia.

Scholz and Macron won't have changed his mind one bit.

Sholz and Macron do not care for donbass in current shape. it's been like this for 8 years. Per Biden et al - concern was whole Ukranian invasion.

All Putin is going to do is say 'we recognize these rebels' that is it. It changes nothing.
