New York times investigation has revealed Haas is selling machinery to make tank engines to Russia
The sole shareholder and CEO of the company is a man named Eugene Francis Haas. The company is called Haas Automation.
Gene Haas was arrested in 2006 for tax fraud and witness intimidation. He was later sentenced to 2 years in jail. Incarcerated beginning in January 2008 and released on probation May 7th, 2009 after serving 16 months. He was also ordered to pay 75 million in restitution.
He owns the NASCAR racing team “Haas CNC racing” He also owns an F1 racing team called “Haas Racing Developments”

The pace of progress in the southern direction front in Ukraine is slow. The enemy was very good at mining the fields and there are almost like underground cities from fairy tales about gnomes. Identifying and understanding the system of moves became possible only thanks to the joint work of ukrainian mortars and aerial reconnaissance. Yes, one of the mortar attacks broke the camouflage and revealed the entrance. After that, the copters began to follow the territory and what was discovered is really impressive. It is likely that the catacombs and trenches not only occupy a large area and allow to pass from one line to another one underground, but also have two floors of trenches.
The other day, our colleagues on the left bank of the Kherson region near the Dnipro used a drone to blow up the newest russian T-90 tank. It is not easy to destroy something with the help of a drone, but you can aim clearly at the weak point of a very protected model. The protection of it was developed against anti-tank grenade launchers from the ground, and not against drones from the air. Judging by today's results, it is likely that drones will take half of the artillery work very soon.
The Russians have now also developed their tactics with fpv drones, researching our paths. Their operators raise 3-4 drones at once, target points: trenches and a road.
They take off together with "Orlan" (it works as a repeater), hover over the road and wait for our transport. If it is not there, then they direct the drone into the trench of our soldiers. Sometimes it is almost impossible to drive on such roads without damaging the equipment. And damaged equipment, which was not taken away immediately, is obtained by various means.
It is because of this that trophies are a rare thing today.
Recently, near Robotine and Verbove, our colleagues won a brand new russian tank T-72B3, modification of 2022. This is really an achievement at today's stage of the war, because both sides work powerfully with artillery and copters.
Capturing it was not an easy operation. First, the Ukrainian military knocked the russians out of the trenches. To regain the position, the enemy sent 7 tanks. One of them was burned immediately. The unit commander was in this (captured than) tank and he started to drive away. A charge flew into this tank, the cumulative jet pierced the side, but did not affect the crew. When something hit the tank and it stopped, the russians dropped it and ran away without even closing the hatches.
In order to pull the tank out of the battlefield, the ukrainian guardmen went three nights in a row to the minefield under fire. On the third day, they took it away. Surprisingly, after research, the technicians found that the main advantages of the new modification of this russian tank are given by parts manufactured in NATO member countries. In particular, this is a thermal imaging complex with French electronics. A month before that, another Ukrainian unit also won a similar tank. And when problems began with the repair, the Ukrainian military simply called the factory in Russia, where it is manufactured, and asked them to fix the problems in the manufacturing technology. We hope for new similar gifts. Preferably, with the abandonment of all catacombs and Ukrainian cities by the occupying forces.

If russia wish to maintain an aggressive border policy, it only increases the escalation of EU state’s capabilities.
Given China have had a sub sink recently with a large number vs crew of officers on board, it makes me think not all is good in the circle C. That may end up causing russia to ba k down first.

NATO is only powerful because of the US. Plenty of countries in the alliance seem lacking in terms of equipment stocked. We never seem to learn from history, it’s better to have the equipment and to not need it. I think we’ve always lived under a MAD doctrine, but this war perhaps throws into question whether nukes would ever be used, short of an absolute last resort.
As I get older I also question more and more what is and isn’t worth fighting for, our leaders are a joke.

Friendly fire in this respect is a huge issue for both side with the number of anti-air systems scattered around not in direct command.
