I have no words for this, except to say that it's a lie worthy of Trump.

I think world politics has gone to the dogs.. probably the only way to restore a semblance is the use of Nuclear weapons. It may restore peoples perspective and reset the bizarre reality. Putin can start with the Tory Party HQ.. they’ve all lost their marbles..

Then we have this useful idiot, whose sole occupation seems to be begging for Russian approval.

Hmm I suspect he will end up falling out of a closed US window at some point.

Well that's then, terror attacks against civilians will now cease. Russia have been told and will now fully abide this request. Seriously though, the useless **** couldn't even be bothered to read the statement out himself. Makes you wonder, just what ******* use the UN is.

One of the things which I think people are having a hard time comprehending, Russia are less and less playing by the rules, I support arming Ukraine with anything not prohibited by the Geneva Convention, Russia has less and less compelling them to abide by such conventions.

Which comes back to my post above - we need to be mindful of such aspects when aiding Ukraine, that isn't to say we shouldn't be doing so but we need to be prepared that there may be consequences and ready for them - there seems to be far too many people thinking "but Russia won't/can't do anything".

EDIT: To be fair one the one hand the UN has always been about getting people around the table talking, on the other hand it is utterly useless in a situation like this.

On another though related note (see last bit as to Russian attitude on treaties):

bbc.co.uk said:
Turning our attention back to Sochi, where President Vladimir Putin has told a conference that Russia has conducted another successful test of the its Burevestnik intercontinental cruise missiles.

He also told the Valdai Discussion Club said that no-one in the world in their right mind would use nuclear weapons against Russia, and that potential enemies knew about Russia's nuclear arsenal.

In response to a question, Putin said he was not ready to declare whether or not Russia needed to resume nuclear weapons testing, saying that "theoretically we could revoke ratification" of the international nuclear test ban treaty.

So looks like they have carried out some kind of testing of the nuclear powered cruise missile.

Also Putin seems to be coming off more and more rattled with these statements today.

I'm with you on this. Everything should be on the table at this point. Russia needs to be defeated and seen to be defeated. It is a backwards nation who's leader is barbaric.

On the bright side, it seems Russia has lost control of its inflation and the interest rates for Vladolf’s military expansion will be very high. The Russian central bank and Putlers politics no longer align.

Hackson Jinkle started out his online grift talking for medicare for all and lefty politics, then quickly dumped it realising there was no money there and shifted to Trump cheerleading, then realised the Russia money was too good to not be his priority. He now seems to have moved from LA to Moscow to be a full time shill. He obviously has no actual ethical stance he wouldn't change for a $1 pay increase

War is an extension of negotiation (to paraphrase) - but the UN doesn't have a military.. hence it is limited in the scenario of Russia.

Just letting Vlad know what the F-16 can do.

Says an armed drone so probably a bayraktar tb2

Should have been shot down earlier imo. It says the F16 only engaged when the drone entered within 500 meters of US soldiers, the TB2 can easily engage targets in that range so it could have launch a missile at US soldiers

Turns out that the terrorist attack earlier targetted a funeral. is there no end to Russian depravity?

Interfax Ukraine reported that the funeral was for a Ukrainian soldier. His widow, son - also a soldier - and daughter-in-law were among those killed, the outlet quoted local prosecutor Dmytro Chubenko as saying.
