Lol intentionally?

I sat and watched, I think it was a BBC doc, about how Russia spreads propaganda throughout Eastern European countries, I never denied any of this. The EU also does the same thing, they're just more subtle about it and less devious with their intentions, but their goal is to still to promote themselves and spread pro-EU messaging.

Not just propaganda or promoting Russia, but setting the groundwork for a much bigger play, the implications being Putin/Russian regime aren't just going to walk away from this.

My god we've now reached the level of comparing the EU to Putin's Russia

Joint the EU. You’ll be secure, rich and happy.

It's a difficult choice.

EU: Join us, and trade for collective benefit... or not, no real bother.
Russia: Join us, and be systematically pillaged... or suffer war and death, and yeah also be systematically pillaged.

I wonder which message Roar finds most appealing.

This guy is well worth following and now safe as he specifically never posts combat footage to avoid issues with Youtube now.

This vid is about the crossings being made in the Dnipro. Quite revealing.

This is the EU delegation towards Ukraine. I didn't say the EU messaging was bad. It's simply set up to spread pro EU messaging as part of their strategic communications. If you were a citizen of a non-EU country such as Ukraine who didn't want to join the EU, for whatever reasons, perhaps you'd take issue with the messaging however.

In that case you probably would but there's always a minority in a country who don't want to do something that the nation as a whole is doing, but it happens anyway because that's how democracy works.

I’m sure if you’re a Russian stooge who believes that Russia has a birthright to trap former soviet states in abusive relationships you would take issue with the EU countering the lies and explaining that Ukraine has options.

730,000. That's ethnic cleansing.

Ukraine warns Russia, if you attack our electrical network, we will bomb your gas and oil network

Can Ukraine reach that far, though? Does she have the capability?

I think they have demonstrated sufficiently that they have the means and will to strike deeper into Russian territory than Russia will be comfortable with. Be that by means of conventional targeted strikes or by means of sabotage/partisan action.
They don't need to fully destroy Russian oil/gas infrastructure to have a significant impact.

Also lets be real, whilst I'm sure Russias strikes against Ukrainian energy/heating systems last year were no doubt a huge uncomfortable and expensive inconvenience, it didn't exactly have that great of an impact.

Russia invading countries and killing people is good/acceptable yet somehow countries asking to join the EU is very bad.
