There's a big vote next week on the US congress which if passed will unlock a $106b of funding for Ukraine and Israel, it looks like it will pass after the Democrats said they are willing to give way on border policy changes. Hopefully this will be the first step in unlocking the current stalemate.

Indeed the Dems need to be shouting from the rooftops the positive affects on employment and to the US economy of this money being spent.

That's not quite right, the bill includes other funding.
"the request includes $61.4 billion for Ukraine, including $44.4 billion to provide Department of Defense equipment for the country, to replenish weapons stocks and to continue providing other military support. The administration is also asking for $14.3 billion for Israel and $9.15 billion for the State Department to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Gaza."

Most of the aid is basically "the value of". So USA is Decommissioning old equipment or bringing back mothballed stuff. Sure... Making new stingers ior shells isn't cheap, but that isn't the main cost.
Money is then spent to replace that kit with modern versions etc in the USA.
Republicans are fighting hard to frame it differently though.
MTG is a scumbag. No matter if it is right or wrong. She would spout that **** to get attention as she is promised a place in a vice chair if trumpsy wins. I hope the sane Americanos would vote against him rather than for Biden or any other candidate.

Has she ever considered that 90% of the money is spent within the US… Funding the Ukrainians is essentially a US stimulus package for the American economy, so unless she means the corruption is within the US this is a pretty stupid statement even by her own standards.

Russian military wives complain that the Wagner "inhumans" got to come home after 6 months but their husbands have been deployed indefinitely and don't get to come back until the war is over. The wives have started putting stickers on their cars saying "bring back my husband!"
