Absolutely true, anyone who reads or posts anything from the Telegraph has read something that offends me and I shall immediately form an opinion on the person and call them names for it to boot because I'm morally superior ftw !!

The truth is donating those is not a matter for the mayor of London due to legal issues. I could just imagine the uproar if those same far right newspapers were told some Tory voting pensioner didn’t get their £2000 grant, because that big bad Labour mayor decided the car should go to some filthy foreigner instead.

No one who wrote that article believes a single word in it; F-16, F-18 and Apaches supporting mobile mechanised attacks? Quote this post in 12 months, this will not have happened. Ukrainian troops do not have the willpower or energy to fight the sort of the warfare being spoken about here, the average age of a Ukrainian serviceman is now 45 on the front lines, this is dire. If the war is still going in 12 months Ukraine will not have the capacity to launch offensive operations, there just aren't replacements for the troops without permanently damaging the Ukrainian economy by sending in the remaining productive educated youth. If you're speaking about getting hardware like F-16s or Apaches, you're looking at small numbers that won't affect the overall strategy being used, they'll probably be held in reserve and employed defensively.

Shut up Putin.

If you read the last paragraph and ignore all the rubbish outrage in the middle, and the chance to moan about ULEZ, you arrive at the issue why it's not happening.
A City Hall spokesman said that “altering the Ulez scheme for the purposes of exporting vehicles to Ukraine is not possible within the current limits of the GLA Act”.
As well as the fact they aren't after ford fiestas:

He added: “It is important any vehicles we donate directly help meet Ukraine’s needs. Recent discussions with officials in Kiev have confirmed that only certain vehicle types are suitable and desirable, namely heavy duty models.”

The mayor said this meant “regular cars and vans which make up the vast majority of vehicles being scrapped under the ULEZ scrappage scheme are not suitable for their current needs”.
In addition, there's what Mr Jack said
Or alternatively, Kahn doesn't have the legal powers needed for such a scheme.
From the BBC article they posted -
However, Sadiq Khan's office said the Labour mayor was legally unable to alter it to allow vehicle exports.
"Unfortunately, altering the Ulez scheme for the purpose of exporting vehicles to Ukraine is not possible within the current limits of the Greater London Authority Act," they said.
They added that Mr Khan was "deeply frustrated" and had instead set up a website which enabled Londoners with a "suitable non-compliant vehicle to donate their vehicles directly to Ukraine".
So...
Numpty pie khan. Good guy Khan setting up a website to help send vehicles Ukraine wants to them
FTFY I guess?

Well that was close

There was footage from a jet posted the day after and they claimed it was from this jet and you hear the pilots shouting and threatening to fly back and drop a bomb on the MLRS. And then we noticed the angle of the fire doesn't match, and that's because the POV video posted is of a different event... in other words this is not the first time in the war the army has launched rockets into the flight path of planes

Ukraine shows off its new attack drone. It has a 900km range, travels at max speed of 200km/h, carries a 42kg warhead, costs $15k to build and has been designed to require as little human labour as possible in the production process. They are currently building 50 per month but plan to ramp up to 1000 per month by the end of 2024

I've basically quoted what British military observers have said. I view this war objectively from a humanitarian point of view. I don't think Russia has any strategic goals beyond fighting for the Russian speaking areas that were largely already controlled by separatists prior to their 2022 invasion.

You have always viewed the conflict from a russian shill pov and taken their propaganda as gospel. Not to mention it's the western advisors who told Ukraine to use NATO style tactics without them having the nessesary equipment to do so, so I don't put much stock into whatever they have to say unless it's pleas to give them everything they need to boot Russia out. Ukranians have shown they want to continue the fightout without any CONCESSIONS given to Russia. So we need to give them the equipment to accomplish that task.

Well i just did my monthly gawk at reddit drones Ukraine whatever and again i'm saddened by the whole futility and ridiculousness of it all yet again.

The birth and development of drone warfare. Only a fool would volunteer/be forced to fight as infantry in coming wars. You cant even die in peace.....

Yeah its utterly brutal. The invaders getting killed don't affect me that badly but seeing Ukrainian soldiers getting injured/killed really does.
