You can put a pro Russian government in power but you can’t keep one there without long term suppression of democracy and freedom of expression.

Russias actions are a clear attempt to remove any remaining possibility of choice from the Ukrainian people, just has Putin has done with his own people.

For the Russians there was never any genuine acceptance that Ukraine was free to make any choices other than the ones that suited Russia, and this dates back way longer than any theoretical CIA involvement.

Are you freely making decisions if a foreign intelligence service, namely the CIA, is deliberately involved in your election? By the way, the FSB will have been doing the same, it's just the CIA is much better funded.

There's audio of US senators discussing working with Ukrainian opposition leaders, this is interfering in a foreign election incase you don't really understand what's going on. You know, undermining Democracy. I do not believe for a single second the CIA wasn't in there for years prior. It is literally their mandate, they would basically not be doing their job if they weren't interfering.

Hilarious really, the US was one of the main reasons this whole thing started and now they don't want to fund it because spending money on Ukraine isn't very popular.

To me it's very obvious the CIA would have been involved prior to this during the whole Euro Maiden thing, Russia obviously knows this. Putin knows this, he's ex KGB himself.

Even if the CIA had something to do with the Ukraine election issues. (Which I firmly believe they didn't and were simply a result of the population being rather unhappy when a politician was elected on moving Westwards with relations and doing the opposite once he was elected)
Its got sweet FA to do with Putin what goes on within Ukraine.

IF, Ukraine had of asked for some help sure, otherwise he had no more right to do anything in Ukraine at all than we would have.

Hmm and russia in UK, China in UK politics.. the same with african and other countries.

I have to agree in that you do seem to ahow a lack of independent consideration in every vountry is attempting to gain an advantage for it’s own benefit.

I think the EU needs to grow up and recognise the threat. Although I have seen Italy and others exit the silk road initiative.
