The resentment will be the same, especially if you lose a chunk of the country because of it, after thousands have died on the pretence of a victory. Just saying :)

Anyway thought there as a massive issue with the corruption early doors.

But not really because Bin Laden wasn't resentful of the US for supporting Afghanistan, it was because they had bases and control of 'Islamic lands' and because of their support of Israel. Any Ukrainian resentment would surely be aimed at the Russians who massacred it's population

Putin 'not planning war against Europe'​

We're hearing more now from Vladimir Putin, who is chairing a meeting of the board of Russia's defence ministry.
Earlier he said his strategic troops were at the highest level of readiness and Moscow would press on in Ukraine until it realises its goals.
The Russian leader has now said he is not planning a war "against Europe" after acknowledging NATO activity had "increased".
He also accused the US of exploiting Europefor its own interests.
It comes after Russia threatened to respond to a new defence pact between Helsinki and the US (see previous post for details).
Mr Putin has also said, without giving details, that Finland's accession into NATO would create "problems" for the Nordic country.

Just like when he put 200,000 troops on the border of Ukraine and they accidentally invaded after him saying they weren't planning to invade :cry:
 
I wish media would be barred from publishing Putin's statements. I come to the news to see the new facts of the day, not to read a page of lies. If western news will just publish anything then there is no difference between so called professional media and Twitter influencers

They should have given up hundreds of billions in aid and half a million people ago, its the expectation of a victory where one can't be achieved that's landed them in this situation, the washing machines will surely run out any-day now. There is nothing that can be done to get the territory back short of torching the entire planet.

Russia really would have taken Kyiv in 3 days if you were giving out advice LOL.

They will continue fighting, with or without Western aid.

It looks like something off the cover of Max Power in 2002 that would have Chavs across the country making a mess in their underwear xD

EDIT: I suppose technically if it appeals to people decked out in Adidas and chains who listen to hard dance beats like it's 1998 then it should go down well with the average poorer Russian xD
