Convicts were thrown to the lions, it didn't matter if they lived or died they were sent as cannon fodder who might take a few with them.
Russia gets to empty their prisons so more more expense housing and feeding them.
Maybe we should do the same with the worst of our prisoners

They definitely can lead from the front....but not on the front line typically.
Then again I don't particularly blame them. If I take a walk for a while I'll take more pictures of fancy Ukrainian registered Porsches, Mercedes etc than you would see english ones in just about anywhere in the UK. They doing something right

I don’t think us Brits walk around observing car types and registrations TBH, so who knows or even cares what cars are in the UK or Switzerland?
I hope the Ukrainians stay away from your public parks though.
There may be certain parts of the UK where it is true I dunno, but certainly around where I frequent the vast majority of expensive cars are either UK registered or places like UAE.
Could be some people are abusing the temporary import laws for Ukraine vehicles due to the war to take advantage of not needing to register or tax it, etc. for 3 years

I see a thread full of people discussing the most serious topic possibly in the history of the world as things unfold. Sweden and Finland joined NATO and Switzerland is worried about a possible Russian invasion. Although the Russian invasion of Switzerland started some time ago to be fair, but those decisions to join NATO have massive geopolitical implications.
Firstborn rarely contributes to the thread aside from some bitter/snide sniping from the sidelines at people for having an opinion.
Though there seems to be a small minority who are far too into their war porn and/or working themselves into a froth at the prospect of a good nuking.

But honestly if you’re walking down the street, would you notice a Merc or Porsche? And then what plates it’s got fitted? I don’t think it’s anything most people would notice unless you’re the type who’s looking for something.
I take your point on the temporary import abuse though. Also if you’re the type of person looking for dodgy financial dealings (Ukrainian or not) Switzerland is certainly the place for those types. I'm sure some toe rags have found a way to profit from this mess Russia have created.

I’ve had six procedures on my knee and it’s basically just about boarder line serviceable. I’m still fully up for adventure if duty calls. Not a chance am I giving up what I’ve worked so hard for without putting up the fight of my life.
