Probably shouldn't be advertising this.
why? even google says the average age of the Ukrainian army is 43 its not top secret info if thats now 44. and it's common knowledge we have been training them.

and if Ukraine are running out of people it won't be a secret apart from in our Media.

The only secret is someone who helped train them is shocked at their average ages now.

I guess he's been helping train them for years and saw the shift in age ranges happen in real time over a fairly short period.

He told me what he trained them in but then if you google that only one squadron comes up so I didn't mention it.

What i find fascinating about all of this, and geopolitics etc is that it would appear that people like Putin and his leadership actually start to believe all the propaganda **** all over social media. It feels like they are getting high off their own supply.

"But Muh Hypersonic missiles! Russia is bezt! NATO tech is OLD and outdated, only Muh Russia has the bestest and most amazing weaponry!!"

Because the politicians of the collective west and US don't want the "razval" (falling apart) of the Rashka. They want the stability...
The republicans have released a report of how many times Biden stopped or not provided enough equipment...

If a previous comment is true.. the account isn't particularly trustworthy.. the stats may be correct but why it's being said may have a hidden agenda other than Ukraine saying you're not supporting.. more like Russia taunting..

That's a lot of Militärhilfe für die Ukraine from Estonia and Lithuania!

that's because Lithuania and Estonia know what it's like to be in ukraines shoes.. as a Lithuanian I know how much population hates russia for what was done and everyone still has very fresh memories of it all. Estonia is probably the same.. rest of the world seems to have forgotten what it really is like when you get invaded.

Yeah unfortunately I don't think this is much of a secret now. I spoke to someone in the forces last month who had some second hand stories about the training programme and some limited first hand experience with them. From his experience the recruits are indeed getting older, and the attitudes are changing too - the people going through training now much more likely to be reluctant participants, and it seems that casualty rates are a cause for concern.

The rather grim reality of an extended war.

I'm very unimpressed that the current Western strategy essentially seems to be to maintain the status quo rather than actually provide enough aid for Ukraine to win. Maybe it makes escalation management slightly easier in the short term, but it seems like this is pretty dangerous in the medium to long term, as it seems like the current atate of affairs is tolerable for the Russian regime. Hardly signals Western strength or resolve to any other countries thinking of trying their luck either.

I remember the posters awhile back bigging up Zircon, etc.

Doing what the West does best, kicking the can down the road in some kind of delusion we won't have to deal with it later... then wonder why it becomes a big problem.

sounds like they have the missiles or some of them, but nothing to fire them from., and they can probably be intercepted on their final approach anyway.

probably more dangerous versus ships

Have you just started following this? Providing training with air support and then not giving much of it. Zaluzhny should have refused to counter attack. The EU promising to deliver a million shells and miserably failling...
