But he rapidly walked that back to "I was joking" which no-one really believes (I don't, I think he meant it) and post invasion he's not said anything so obvious about wanting Russia to win but instead he's been very vocal about stopping the US "sending money to Ukraine", which would obviously lead to Russia winning, hence back to people believing he was really saying "I want Russia to win without saying I do" loop. His context for the "stop sending money" issue is he wants it spent on the US instead, which he thinks gives him a riposte to those saying he wants Russia to win as he can say "No, I want the US to be better for its citizens" - Both sides would be simultaneously right and wrong to believe either version I think.
Without context we don't know "why" he's there - it could be to do a hit piece on Putin, it could be to do a puff piece, it might not be anything to with journalism, it might be to assassinate Putin, who knows!
Without context we have no idea why he's there, and if we have no idea then, to me, it seems silly to attack him. However, once we know why he's there then it might be absolute right to criticise him, who knows, I'll wait until we have context before acting but thats just me I guess.

they're complicated, but when the bits that keep getting the ships stuck in dock are what should be the "simple" bits like propulsion then it sort of begs the question, why doesn't this keep happening to the likes of cruise ships and commercial ships that use similar systems.
And "prop shafts" are relatively simple, it's not the gearing, it's not the engine, it's what should be the simplest part of the propulsion system assuming it's been designed correctly, the right materials have been specified and used, and it's been machined correctly.
