I think it safe to say I'm not losing sleep over people posting rubbish on the internet, given the context and humanitarian side of this conflict I've little tolerance for people using it for their own amusement.

I honestly couldn’t care less what the thread is like. I’m far more concerned with trying to counter some of the pernicious untruths which spread so easily on the public internet.

As far as I’m concerned the enemy is our own ignorance.

Indeed, but it would seem at least one user is in disagreement with the mods stance to the point it requires the intervention of the mods, who will very likely then continue repeatedly expressing what at this point are deeply entrenched even twisted opinions on multiple subjects with less opposition.

To me the issue is the content of these posts and the inflammatory dogmatism behind them. The responses to these posts is moderation in itself even if the content of the posts distasteful considering the weight of the topic. Just my opinion of course. Cue haters laughing responses.

And thus, when the people in charge appear to capitulate to someone with an opposing view, said individual feels free to get their elbows out.

The last 2 years compacted into 2 pages. :)
 
What's the production numbers for arty shells coming from Europe now?

Also nice to see that the MoD for once might be learning something, big cash injection into drones.

If it's shot down by their own people it demonstrates how great their anti air is, because it's the only thing that can shoot down that aircraft.
