Are you telling me that it was the people of ukraine that wanted to join Nato? really?
You think the west had no involvement in Ukraine prior to all of this?
Seeing things from another viewpoint doesn't automatically make you a supporter of them. Then again most people seem to struggle with understanding that concept these days.
I technically didn't say that. I try to also view things from other parties viewpoint rather than act like everyone who disagrees with me is a lunatic with no "logical" train of thought.
There is benefit from trying to understand other viewpoints so that you can understand how a situation arose and properly take steps to avoid it in future. As funny as it may seem to go "haha putin crazy" it is not helpful.
I think the west played with fire and tried to expand their influence and Ukraine got burnt. I also think there are benefits to having multiple superpowers that keep each other in check.
P.S. Where do you think my claims are wrong so i know for future reference?
P.S.S What do you think Russia should do while the west expands their influence? Should they roll over and take it?
So Russia is allowed to meddle in Ukraine to keep their stooge but the West which is composed of other countries on Ukraine's borders can't? Russia's aggression prior to 2014 pretty much necessitated some form of action assuming of course it wasn't just a minor nudge in a greater displeasure among Ukrainians with a leader who happily mowed down hundreds of his own citizens.
