Ultramarines: The Movie

Eek. Not totally convinced with the delivery of the dialogue in that clip. Sounded like the captain (Terence Stamp) was about to fall asleep, but managed to get his lines out.
And some of those faces almost looked like orks!

I actually liked the atmosphere and sense of pace in that clip. There space marines about to embark to a supposed battle zone, so I guess they're not going to be chatting away!

I've ordered it and I have to say it's certainly no Toy Story - even though I'm very much looking forward to it. Anyone who likes their Anime will know that some can be a bit ropey - long pauses for no apparent reason etc.

Lets hope its the start of more 40K movies and they will get better.

Do you realise the manufacturing cost difference? And if so, do you really think they would produice Blu-Rays if they thought it might not sell?

No I didnt actually, thought never crossed my mind; its still ashame they havent done a bluray version to bring out the best in it.

As we advised yesterday, due to a production issue outside our control, we were not able to start shipping the complete Ultramarines DVD collector’s set on November 29th 2010 as planned.

We have teams in the UK, US and Europe working around the clock to resolve the issue.

At this time, we are hoping that orders can start to ship next week. In the meantime, we will keep you informed as soon as we receive more information.

Once again, please accept our sincere apologies for this delay to you receiving your Ultramarines DVD.

Had the email but nothing arrived today.

Read that some people have received their copy. I think they all say its a worthy purchase but don't expect Pixar-quality animation.
