Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Loved this game. And on a 120" projector looked damn awesome.
Trying to get into the last of us but its a backwards step from UC4 which is taking some time

Frankly, the only thing that's a backwards step may be the graphics because TLoU is still IMO the better game and the story is miles ahead. But U4 is awesome in it's own right.

I don't know what it is about Uncharted 4 but I must have replayed it more than 10 times and never seem to get bored of it. Maybe its always a new battle on each chapter but one thing, how impressive the sound really is. Amazing clarity and directional sound.
Always love the crack of gunfire with some of the type of weapons.

Then of course it really becomes even more fun with Multiplayer more so Survival.

It is frighteningly difficult how hard these Warlord's really are on Hard for Survival but it is insanely fun! Crazy the waves of enemies flooding in every direction. Dreading to see this when Crushing unlocks. Especially when some of them send out this red chasing thing as you run, roll and jump yet they still manage to get kill you. Even when you dive into the water.

The Pirate Colony was insane!

I've had this game about 3 weeks now, got to the Scotland part, it's not grabbed me I'm afraid so today it's been sold.

I've never played the other games before, there seemed to be far too many cutscenes and I found the combat fairly boring.

Troll post? Maybe, just surprised I didn't get into this. Prey is holding my interest far more.

Each to their own I guess, loved this but after 30 minutes of the Prey demo I decided to skip it.

What a pain. People thought Crushing was bad in single player. This is a lot worse on Survival.

8:00 - 11:11. Seems it is hard to find good players. Keep failing on Hard. :o

Christ on a stick this game is beautiful. And well written and acted. It is pretty much the absolute best in its genre and not just among games but movies as well. This is better than Indiana Jones.

I only have two criticisms:

- amount of enemies is too excessive and Drake should be able to take them down nonlethaly via tranq gun and knockouts

- 30 fps sucks donkey balls and I wish the game was on PC so I could play it at 60

But god damn is it gorgeous.

IMO, it's still the most visually polished and detailed game to date, especially considering it has to run on a glorified toaster. And the story and writing is not bad at all for the genre, properly enjoyable and a very fitting conclusion to the series.

Have you tried shooting those little rocks in Scotland?:p

Especially not far after this. Did you get annoyed right at the end of Madagascar? Crushing was brutal.

What?

Yeah but I already saw that in a gif before. Neat.

I play on normal, there have not been any too hard points. But the shootouts are way less enjoyable than in previous games due to 30fps, aiming feels terrible.

Well, these consoles do have ancient slow tablet CPUs in them, gpu is half a decade old midrange chip too, in standard ps4 that is.

Odd, I thought the aiming was very nice compared to the past Uncharted games.

Maybe to original versions, but I played remastered trilogy just before U4 and what a difference, those play vastly better thanks to framerate. I still prefer U4 as a whole though. Shame it can't be on PC.

Yeah, I remember how smooth the Nathan Drake Collection was. It was especially nice for Uncharted 1 as the original controls were horrible on the PS3. So many deadzones.

Did you ever try those games on Brutal? It was crazy.
