Unfortunate names?

There was a guy in my year (and most of my classes) called Daniel Wanklin. (Dons: please don't edit this because it's true).

Malcolm David Wanklyn. Royal Navy submarine ace.

That makes 2 of us then!

P.S. just found his autograph which I had in an old notepad :) He always had a thing about writing "happy Christmas" even though I took these autographs on Leaver's Day (1995 GCSEs).

Only last night (or the night before) there was a Doctor David Nut being interviewed on TV. Profession: psychologist :p

Probably not an "unfortunate" name, but a great name for a shrink :p

Had a guy at my secondary school with the surname Gaylord...

I'm almost sure I remember a runner called Gaylord Silly.

I knew of someone called Jocelyn Mycock. Also, indirectly, a couple with the surname Mall who called their daughter Cara. Cara Mall...Caramel.

Although Fifi Trixibelle Geldof probably takes the biscuit as the most unfortunate name. For a person, anyway. It would be a fine name for a decorative poodle.

My middle aged Geography teacher in high school in the late 80's was Richard Head. His parents can't have known what would happen by the time their child was 30+ and Jasper Carrot was making his name legendary! :D
