Unigine Heaven 4 benchmark

Is it a reference card?

Edit ignore that, just seen it's not.

Have you tried changing your fan profile? This can help with temps.

Try 1150/1500 with more volts. Trixx can give you more voltage than MSI Afterburner can.

Find your max core clock, then max mem clock. You won't be able to get both running at max without instability, so find max and go back 10 on each. That's what I do, well, should do. :D

I don't know the technical reasons but Win7 is better on the unigine benches and Win8.1 is better on the futuremark benches.

If you want to get on the scoreboard don't forget to do the in bench screenshot.:)

Stuck with MSI as Trixx was crashing on the settings option....

I still think i can squeeze more so watch this space :)

Happy to try any more suggestions. Gonna re-install 7 on a spare SSD for laughs.

Cheers all!

Getting two 970's on Monday. Hoping for a better score. Hoping not to have to upgrade the CPU.

That's very interesting Bos, I got same cpu and now I know what I could achieve with 970 if I upgraded to it from my 5870.

The 2500K is still a cracking CPU, I see no reason to upgrade it.
The GTX 560ti that this 970 replaced is a different story altogether though ;)

Hey Mr K.............

I've just noticed I'm still near the top :) .

Just got me two EVGA 980 Classys (Friday). Got a good 5960X/ RV5 setup as well.

Going to see what these cards can do. Pity about the water block situation but I've got two 780 Classy blocks that can be fettled (allegedly) to fit...........
Or universal blocks are another option ;)

Got to get the bioses and EVbot sorted first. Kingpin thread here I come.
