United States Grand Prix 2013, Austin - Race 18/19

Good from Kovalainen, justifying Lotus' choice to select him over Valsecchi. I don't think he's going to make it too far up the grid, but for your first race after almost a season out, he's doing a very good job.

I think Kovo is doing well and I liked him, but I can't really see it as justifying picking him over their own test driver because we have no idea how well he may have done. He may have done better for all we know. Also in the case of quality potential young drivers, he gave up a lot to be the test driver and the team basically screwed him in return. Sounds like he's leaving, but now which young test driver with potential wants to be the test driver at Lotus if they have no faith they'll get a fair chance?

Rosberg was nowhere, Button was a fair way off Perez, Maldonado hinting that the team basically have zero interest in helping him show he can be fast.

Bottas showing a car without a back end is better than their car with coander... they utterly screwed up that car this year and, what could they have done if they tested their non coander part for next year at the start of the season. It's not just that it's better without it, they've spent an entire year developing something that was awful rather than developing something else entirely. Always liked Williams but it can only be classed as a monumental screw up of a season.

Disappointed with 5th for Lewis, especially as he's gone backwards in every race since winning at the end of the first-half of the season.

Hope he gets a good start and can pick up good points tomorrow. I can see Webber nicking 3rd in the WDC off him at this rate.
