United States Grand Prix 2013, Austin - Race 18/19

Gearbox dyno I've seen pics but it must be great to see it in action it could be in house?
And as for the Japanese guy it was DC and Newey that said about him at a race were they needed help with a front wing.

Looks like it :( He is a bit upset at the moment as I noticed in GD he had a go at members in his own thread.

Ahh right, yes it is in house we have no other facilities other than the wind tunnel. That maybe in reference to us flying a team of guys in a stripped out jet to get a pair of new front wings to Japan. Everything is designed and built in house.

I just turned Sky on on for the end of the Lotus interview. The guy looked quite depressed. What was that all about?

Davide Valsecchi. Lotus' 3rd driver. He's been at every race this year, not done any other form of racing at all for the whole year, and dedicated all his time to Lotus. And then when a spare seat in the team pops up... they choose someone else.

TBH I'm surprised he's even bothered to turn up.

He'd bought an AMD graphics card.

Wow, Perez looks like he's about to cry :(

He should talk to Ganassi. They already have Telmex as a sponsor, I'm sure Carlos Slim would approve of a high-profile Mexican driver in USCC\Indycar. On top of that his manager (Adrian Fernandez) has past connections there.

Doh!

The FIA screwed this up in the GP2 last year at Spa, when they green flagged a session only to then slam the red flag out when someone looked out the window and noticed the Helicopter wasn't there.

FIA incompetence at its finest. 40 minute delay caused by the chopper not being able to fly, yet they green flag it without checking its arrived!
