Don't know what's funnier, him rolling backwards or a camera running around infront of a F1 car in the pitlane during a live race.

Big spark as the car went at the right rear so presume wheel gun was on and it wasn't attached properly there.

Lots of pit conversation going on between Kimi and Ferrari on the app.
He's not overly impressed... surprise!

But reversing in the pitlane? Ok, not using reverse gear, just using gravity. Hamilton got a reprimand for reversing the in the pit lane when he was told to by a marshal.

Under investigation for releasing an unsafe car.

Yup and that's my issue with it. If Rosberg was in the situation he currently is purely on merit, having had the same reliability as Hamilton, I'd say fair enough and good luck to him. As it stands the last two years have demonstrated he's not in the same class as Lewis and he's needed a massive reliability advantage this year to put him in this position.

The season isn't over yet but, as Brundle literally just postulated, if Lewis wins all the remaining races and Rosberg still gets it, he'll be an incredibly lucky and undeserving champion. Of course Rosberg could win all the remaining races and beat Hamilton convincingly, in which case he'd be more deserving.

Exactly. If Rosberg beat him in a fair one to one race I would have no issue, but that hasn't been the case so far. I am sure most F1 fans feel the same, hence the boos when he wins tbh.

I can't see Lewis winning all the remaining races...and even if he does he needs Rosberg to falter at some stage...which is still entirely possible.

How on earth someone can win half the races in a season and not be a 'deserving' champion is quite beyond me. Rosberg won what, 7 races in a row (if we include the tail end of last year also) which takes some doing, even in the most dominant car F1 has ever seen.

I fully agree luck's played its part, you'd be mad not to see that, but please justify how someone doesn't deserve to win a world title having won half the races in a season.

Oh, and since when were world titles decided by 'who's the best wheel-to-wheel racer'? Last time I checked it was on who scored the most points, no matter how they were earned..

Ferrari are a joke, I can see why Vettel might be considering his options.

Might now even be grid penalties for unsafe releases. One way to stop that is to have a minimum pit time, say 5 seconds or so, but then we'd have penalties for some teams being too quick. A bit like Formula E when they change cars too quickly.

It's not even just a little bad luck, the thing that winds me up is beyond the cheating in previous seasons, he's hit Hamilton twice on track when Hamilton was the faster car and passing fairly. People usually forget but the FIA found Rosberg at fault for pushing hamilton off the track in Spain and austria couldn't have been more obvious.

Half of those Hamilton had to start from the back or so far down he had no chance to win. Without Hamilton starting alongside he is a default winner in a car that no one else can match. There will always be good and bad races for every driver so even with Hamilton up there he won't lose every race to Hamilton, but 4-5 races this year have been complete gifts for Rosberg. Bahrain Bottas divebombed Hamilton, he's had multiple failures in qualifying, he's been hit by Rosberg twice, etc, etc.

And we all remember HOW they were earned ;)

What would be absolutely hilarious is if Rosberg didnt win this one tbh.

Idiotic Sky again, couldn't be more obvious the team asked him to keep going as he was saying it was worse if he sped up(which they obviously asked him to do). Again his car got stuck in gear, which was clear and would likely have happened wherever he stopped meaning VSC even more certain had he stopped half way down a straight requiring a vehicle on track.
