Not sure about that. He gets a bit more moany when the heat is up, and is prone to thinking the world is against him and making mistakes. He handles it better than Vettel though. It would be nice to know how Alonso handles a super fast team mate. We didn't really have that in it's purist form against Lewis, because of Dennis' lies and the clear #1 status he suppose to have. I don't think he'd be anywhere near as bad a Seb was with Ricciardo. In fact had he stayed at McLaren in 2008 I think despite Lewis being faster, Alonso would have won the title. Both Hamilton and Massa made a series of daft mistakes that year.

I do think that Rosberg was a cut above Bottas. I always considered Nico a top tier two driver, but perhaps he was just a relegation zone tier one driver. A bit like Leicester City.
 
I’m here in Austin for work this week and was looking to go and watch the race but turn 1 tickets are $600 so will watch it on the big screen in my hotel with a cold beer.

Thunder and rain has just stopped.
 
Nico wasn't better than Hamilton in a million years but he was certainly better than Bottas.

Given Hamilton a much easier year this year when he's only got Vettel to worry about not the guy with equal machinery.
