I don't think there's much else I need to say in regard to the rest of this thread but I love the idea that there's the slightest chance that you (or indeed anyone else here) is vaguely comparable to one of the great scientists and polymaths of all time - perhaps most amusing is the implication that it's only because you don't really fancy it that you're not going to be on a level...

There are some very smart people on these forums but I think that most would acknowledge that there's a vast gulf between being pretty damn clever and being an all-time genius. In my not very vast experience the cleverest people tend to be amongst the first to recognise their limitations.

but they prob never got 99% for 1st year maths at a top uni...top marks all round...then I gave up being a nerd!!!! Thats why I am now into the guitar and the porn industry as a more exciting career option. In fact I am going to combine both careers and I will play guitar with my special unit....like Hendirx plays with his teeth this will be my signature move

I dunno where you live but unless I walk around the uni campus I think this is extremley unlikely.

In which case, if you have the qualifications you allegedly claim (and the more you post, the more circumspect that appears) then you are around the national average when weighted for comparison.

however, my point I have stated all along is in terms off the world, in terms of the people I see in the job centre I am in the premier league of education. Not the champions league but premier league.

then in the premier league at the top you get your Cambridge, oxford 1st class graduates, then mid table you get your top uni 2.1 graduates, battling out for relegation at the bottom off the premier league you have your 2.1 graudates from crappy unis.

Then in the championsip you have your typical 2.2 guys.

Uni lecturer seemed cool but I cba with the extra stuff they have to do.

if it was just a case of doing lectures that would be a good job IMO.

Just have a few beers, turn up at lecture hall, put up some slides, talk about slides, crack some jokes, perv on the hot students, set up secret camera to fap to hot students once home....repeat only 30 weeks off year.

Some people might say that, however it doesn't automatically imply that social ineptitude correlates to intelligence. If you think about it like a Venn diagram, someone might be at the point in the circles where intelligence and problems with social interaction meet but equally they might simply be in the part which relates to social ineptitude.

I'm making no particular judgement about you personally, just saying it's somewhat unlikely that you could be vaguely on a par with Isaac Newton if only you'd fancied it.

I've just pulled my wife and her 3 mates (all teachers) over to the screen to read that and they are all laughing.
You have got to have missed something out from that cut & paste.
Think about it, do you think you could walk up an average street in Britain, knock on the door and find that 30% of that street have got a degree or higher?
I can take you to areas where they haven't got a cycling proficiency certificate between them which means that other areas must be near a 100% degree rate.
Surely that's got to be something like 30% of people who went to Higher Education (College and further) ended up with a degree or equivalent.

Truth is I did get very good results at school and awards and done well at uni whilst playing truant at school and at uni, however im more interested in video games and slacking off...thats reality.

Now I need a full time job but one that is not many hours as I cant play truant in jobs sadly?
