I'm sorry for missing out the "s" x2.
Still as I had mentioned 6950CF and was talking about 6950s, flashed to 6970s in CF that it may have made sense.
just tested my card at stock 890/1375 , it's fully stable.
Is that with power on +20?
nope. 0%
950/1375 stable too
Try with power on + 20 otherwise you will not be getting the full power of the card
I think I pooped myself as my rig just hung when I tried the flash. Restarted the power and its working ok. Might wait and see how others get on before trying it again..................
surely if it was not getting enough power it would crash or lose performance.Try with power on + 20 otherwise you will not be getting the full power of the card

but i'm getting 54.9 fps in Heaven Benchmark v2.1 at 890/1375 which is right.
Mine did, so I used the cmd route rather than windows flash. Your card is fine don't worry .
A quick google found other forums discussing this flash (I found posts by Easyrider too ) and it seems that this flash does not sort out the power levels - The 6950 has the same CCC power even when flashed. Therefore it must be upped to +20% or in certain benchmarks it will not be running as fast as it could.
Perhaps the memory on the 6950 is not the same as the 6870. My 6970 bios works fine but if I up the power it does not. hmmmm....
Cheers, tried to flash it via the CMD and its worked.
Let me know if you get artifacts when enabling +20% on CCC with the new bios.
I think I may have to underclock the ram a bit. If this is the case then custom bios's will be around soon I bet.
