What have you compared them with and how did you do this?
Maybe just a placebo effect, but compaired to my old conti sport 3's (changed at 4mm) and more recent Khumo ectasa sport's (changed at 3mm) there is not as much understeer on the motorway (in wet conditions) and i go through standing water on the motorway daily, with no swaying/wheel spin.

Im no expert, but these do stand out to me so much so that i would buy again. And have done.
Not noticed much more grip from my new ones. So i can say they dont loose much being close to the limit either.

Understeer on the Motorway!?

How fast do you drive, 190mph!?!?

I wouldn't expect understeer on the Motorway even in a Vectra VXR fitted with Sava Intensas let alone a decent car with Conti's on.

Not so much understeer as drift? Not sure how to word it, but im sure you know what i mean...

Needing a pair of new tyres for my '04 Ford Focus Estate 1.8 - it's currently got Firestone TZ300 alphas on it (from previous owner) but just need the fronts replacing - will stick the rears on the front and new ones on the rear.

I've got a Halfords Auto Centre just up the road from me - seems to have decent local reviews?

What would be a good set of tyres for 195-60-R15 size?

Continental PremiumContact 5 or Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance will do well in that size

Cheers for the suggestions - looking at the Goodyear Efficient Grips at the moment - I guess having them on the back and the only slightly worn (6mm+ tread) Firestones I currently have on the front is the way to go?

Looking for some AD08R in 195/50/15 for the MX5 Camskill are the cheapest I can find at the moment but I found them about £10 a corner cheaper last time I looked

I've checked

Black circles
Camskill
MyTyres
eTyres
Event Tyres

Anywhere I've missed?

For those who have used tyreleader when do you pay for fitting? Is it when you place the order or when you have the tires fitted? Maybe a daft question but you can have the tyres delivered directly and I wasnt sure if it could be added on tyreleader.

I might be mistaken but I think you pay for fitting and request delivery to the fitters when placing your order, I have not done this though, I had them delivered to my home address and took them to a fitter myself so I could be wrong.

It appears Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 are available in some sizes now. I'll need my fronts changing soon but not sure if I should try these or get another pair of the Asymmetric 2s.
