:) both the same for me. UT99 I played for god knows how many hours, just against bots!

Thinking about it im sure I tried to download this last year and couldnt get it working. Just now I had it registered, installed and playing it in about 5 mins. Very quick any easy
 
The only thing lacking is more players and some background music tracks.

I like how they kept the menu music the same as UT99 :)

I very dislike the ranking system as I do with all FPS games. Pre Alpha or Alpha doesnt matter to me anymore. Squad Greenlight is Alpha and I have played it more than any other game I have ever had 87 hours!
 
I was very happy when I loaded it for the first time when I heard that music from ut99, that on its own, made me smile

but when I started playing, jeepers its more difficult to play, its just I find it hard to see the enemies as they move fast and its difficult to see them shooting, but it does feel like UT99, which is good

I know what you mean, it feels like UT99 but theres too much stuff going on! I did get better really quickly though.

I think one of the problems is all the differnt things on the Hud, might have another game now and turn most of it off. It does seem very customisable at least

For me personally its always been about CTF. How they handle the translocator in the game will be a big factor for me. Have they made any decisions yet in regards to the good ol tele?

Just had a quick blast. Brought back so many good memories from UT99. Be interesting to see if they bring the 'Assault' mode back, as that's the main one I played.

For an early release it plays well and looks the part too. Wasn't a big fan of UT2003 so hopefully they get it right this time round.
